We are excited to be donating to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center in Jekyll Island, Georgia!  When I first visited the Center I was both saddened by the damage inflicted upon these poor creatures as well as in awe of the dedication and commitment shown by the staff.  This facility is a turtle hospital, research facility and educational facility all rolled into a charming building.  Not only do you get to see educational exhibits but you get to visit the sea turtle hospital.  The volunteers in the hospital introduced me to the patients and explained their injuries and the treatment.  It was truly amazing!  I was ready to move to the island and become a volunteer.  If you ever have the chance to visit the center take advantage.  It is a wonderful experience for young and old alike.

25% of purchases made on our Collection for The Georgia Sea Turtle Center will go toward turtle adoptions!  The money for the adoptions goes toward medication, feeding the patient as well as supporting research to help sea turtles all over the world.  We also use the money to send care packages which include items from the Centers wish list!  If you would like to adopt your own turtle you may do so by purchasing a $50 donation through the Centers Adopt a Sea Turtle Program.  An adoption makes a wonderful hostess, wedding or birthday gift for the person who has everything!
